A Brief Clan History

Clan Menzies’ lands are predominantly found in Perthshire.

It is believed by some that the name Menzies comes from a misspelling as the old style y in the original name was confused with a z. In Scotland Menzies is pronounced “Ming-iss” with a silent G.
